Review Of GTA 4

We think the game is quite good but is aimed at the same people every time they bring a new game out. We believe this as we find the games are all exactly the same, except obviously the missions.
- Every single GTA is practically the same as you can do all the same things except your are in a different place, different character and different missions.
- The graphics have got better as the games have been produced which is a big difference and is a way to appeal to a different audience.
- However as they produce new games every so years, they develop them for new consoles so if you are really GTA fan and you want the new game then you are going to have to buy the new console which is a clever way the company has done this. But could potentially mean that the game might not do as well as people may not be able to afford the new technology.

Yes I suppose it is what we expected as they are all nearly exactly the same. However the adverts may percieve the game to be more real life than it is. The adverts also give a false graphics view as they are better quality than the game. However it does persuade people to buy the game.

Things that were unexpected about the game were the ways in which you activate cheats. To activate a cheat previously you would type it a series of symbols for the play station and the cheat would activate. Where as on the new GTA 4 a little mobile phone pops up where you type the number of the cheat and then dial and it becomes activated.

Although we thought that because it was raved about so much from the adverts and the magazine reviews, that it would have a completely different feel about it and a lot different from the previous games. However we thought it was pretty similar to all the other ones and nothing was really unexpected.

The differences we noticed between the session we played with the cheats and the sessions without the cheats games were:
- the session with the cheats we had a laugh and mess around as there is always away you won't die and you can boost your health up and get out of sticky situations and get the police off your back. Also you can have pretty much whatever you like and can kill with what ever weapon you want.
-the session without the cheats you are more careful with your driving and the situations you get yourself with as your are aiming not to die as you need to start the level again and you loose money if you get busted by the police.

We thought the graphics had improved since the last game which has made the gaming experience better and more enjoyable.
We thought the action content was more realistic and life like, however not far off being exactly the same as the other games.
We thought the violent content contained in every game ahas been pushed to the limit as with what you can do and how it is displayed.
