ONLIVE
Onlive is a new online way to play games without using a games retailer, you access the games online through membership and paying a subscription.
Disadvantages
- Alot of gamers have spent money on a console like the Xbox or Ps3 and wouldn't want to spend more money on something that has the same use.
- If your internet connection isn't very good you won't be able to stream the games successfully. You will also have to have a good computer and have internet as well as buying the wireless sensor and controller.
- You can't trade games in share disks or play together socially.

- Onlive saves money by cutting out the retailer and console manufacturer, more profit for them.
- No downloading therefore more space on your computer.
- Big collection of games
- Easy to get hold of, you don't need to go into town or spend a long time looking on sites such as amazon to find the game you want.
- They can join lots of separate companies
